Finance Department
Staff
There are currently
eight employees in the
Finance Department. Job titles are as follows:
Finance Officer, Deputy Finance Officer,
Accounts Receivable/Payroll Clerk, Accounts
Payable Clerk, Utility Billing Clerk, EMS
Billing Clerk, Receptionist/Accounting Clerk
and Information Technology Specialist.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for
the receipt of all municipal funds and the
Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the
payment of all warrants. The Payroll Clerk, with
the assistance of the Deputy Finance Officer and
other office staff processes a biweekly payroll
for 169 full-time employees and approximately
200 part-time employees. The Utility Billing
Clerk processes water, sewer, and sanitation
utility billings for approximately 5,500
customers on a staggered weekly billing cycle.
The Information Technology Specialist oversees,
maintains and ensures the integrity/security of
the city-wide computer system.
