Public Safety Animal Control
The Animal
Control branch currently has one full time certified police
officer. The primary duties of the animal control officer are
to investigate animal complaints and oversee the city animal
shelter. The office hours
for the animal control officer are Monday through Friday from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Any calls for the animal control officer
outside of the routine business hours will be handled by an
on-duty police officer on a priority basis. |
