Announcement Work is scheduled to begin Monday, June 23rd on Hanson Avenue, between Gamble and Foster, across from Hitchcock Park and the Mitchell Aquatic Center. This work will include
complete reconstruction including utilities, curb and gutter and paving.
The City Crews and the Contractors will strive to provide access to the
park and pool from the parking lot located on Hunter and Hanson.
Handicapped Access will be provided from the parking lot using wooden
walkways across the construction. Access will also be maintained on the
South sidewalk of Hanson, which will not be replaced. Entrances near
Hitchcock Tennis facility and Hitchcock Softball facility will remain
open but the public may, at times, need to take alternate routes to get
to these entrances. The City of Mitchell thanks you for your patience. |
